I'm looking forward to Vicky 3, but I was also looking forward to Imperator, which never really went anywhere fun. I think I'm going to wait a little bit, watch some people play it on Twitch, and then make my choices after I see some unscripted gameplay.

In case anyone is wondering what the 'Grand Edition' is:

The Grand Edition includes the whole Expansion Pass package... on top of the remastered Victoria 2 soundtrack awarded to everyone pre-ordering the game!

And as per the image inside that post, the Expansion Pass includes the first as yet unnamed $30 Expansion, American Buildings pack (likely just cosmetics), $15 Immersion pack (if anything like the EU4 Immersion packs, it will probably be a smattering of unique events, missions, cosmetics, etc for various nations), $5 Radio pack (music files?), and $5 Art pack (HD artwork files?).

So far I've bounced off Paradox games due to the terrible UI (spreadsheets everywhere, can't be bothered to learn it), but I've only played older games on sale. Someone let me know if the UI improves to, say, Civ 6 level.

(Civ 6 is a terribly slow-paced game, but not for UI reasons.)

There was a definite split in UI theory within Paradox games in the last few years, with EU4 being the pivot point between the old and new. Everything since then has worked to be far more accessible. Stellaris, CK3, and HoI4 all are noticeably better in that way.
