This is a charming little atmospheric narrative puzzle adventure put out by the devs that made No Man’s Sky.
There’s a big overworld to navigate which has some puzzles of its own, but the main focus is separate sub-level puzzles that you can enter, each one built around its own idea/concept. I found the puzzles on the easier side in general, but a few required some head scratching.
There’s an overarching narrative that I didn’t find too resonant but that a lot of people love. I did, however, love the voicework in the game. The narrator does a great job and has an incredibly distinctive voice that is a joy to listen to.
The game is perfect on the Deck and well worth its current price.
Steam's Open World Survival Crafting sale:

I've played a lot of these, they're very hit or miss. Feel free to ask about specific ones!
Have you tried Core Keeper or Starbound? I tend not to get as into survival crafting, but sometimes they click and these seem like they incorporate aspects of other genres.
I've tried Core Keeper, a really long time ago tbh but i think it was pretty good when I played it! I never got too deep into it though, but I remember it being a bit more automation focused. It was definitely a bit more grindy though.
Never played Starbound though, but I've heard it's very similar to Terraria, which I kinda liked and is definitely worth the price.
Tell Me Why is free to keep on Steam for the month of June, presumably for Pride Month. From DONTNOD Entertainment, the studio that made Life Is Strange.
Steam reviews contain spoilers; beware.
Lila's Sky Arc is on sale for $2.99 on Steam.
I noticed while looking up the description for the Backlog Burner last week. I just beat the first boss, and so far I like it. I don't usually play Metroidvania games so I can't speak for how it compares to the genre as a whole, but this one has a nice, cozy feel to it in my opinion. I got to hear a guitar solo from a ghost as a side quest, which feels like a sign of care by the developers.
Cooking bundle on Humble:

PlateUp! for 7$ is probably worth it if you're even remotely into 1 of the other games, from what I can tell. Would highly recommend PlateUp! It's overcooked, with more automation and a roguelike, that is basically only overcooked in the way it looks.
My husband and I wanted to like Overcooked but didn’t like dealing with the “zany” stuff — like the layouts changing during the level. We kept saying we just wanted the game to get out of the way and let us co-optimize.
Enter PlateUp! The savory counterpart to Overcooked’s more sugar-driven flavor of gameplay. No zaniness. It’s all about working together and maximizing efficiency. The two of us played it together a good amount, and we’ve also done some four player runs with our friends.
When you get a solid division of labor and rhythm going, the game feels really good.
haha are you and your husband into Factorio as well? I feel like there's a pretty good overlap of gameplay there, besides the roguelike parts.
We haven’t — neither of us is actually that big into optimization games!
My husband just likes cooking and I like helping people out in multiplayer games, so PlateUp worked really well for us. 😁
If you guys have VR, one of my favorite things was a game called Diner Duo VR which was basically a keyboard/mouse and VR combo where the player in VR was making the food and the mouse and keyboard player was playing Diner Dash, might be perfect for y'all!
I’ve got an Index. That honestly sounds perfect for us! Thanks for the rec.
Edit: Apparently I already own it, lol

Happy Pride!
Humble has a bundle of LGBTQ+ stories in commemoration with Pride month.

I'm not super familiar with any of the games tbh, but I did chat with one of the publisher guys that worked with the developer of Coffee Talk 2 at PAX one year. I think he mentioned that it was one of their better sold games too.
Elden Ring: Shadow of Erdtree is 5$ off on Newegg for those that are gonna buy it anyways!

Metro Series is on sale in Bundle:

I enjoyed Exodus, it's a great immersive sim that's tense and open-area exploration. Pretty fun for what it is. The other two I have but are on my backlog lol.

People really liked Dorfromantik but... I don't get it really. I didn't play too much though to be fair so maybe it just hasn't clicked yet. Unrailed is a fun "Overcooked like" game but way less stressful, imo.
