I actually worked a few of them and one year, I believe 2016, I saved an enormous fabric wall wrap for Bethesda's area. It was cartoonish (Fallout style) renditions of famous characters in black and white. I've kept it in my garage for years and know it'll be worth decent money to a collector at some point, I guess the end of E3 only increases that likelihood.

I remember arriving to strike everything, once it was done, and I heard they were just throwing it away. Nahhh

I really felt like I struck gold that day, I loved Bethesda games and I still do.

I remember being a young teen in the early 00's and talking to my friend about how when we were older we should definitely go to E3. The two of us talked about how cool it'd be (even though we didn't realise it was an event for journos, developers and industry execs until it's last couple of years).

I loved E3, used to tune in to all the news every year from when I was about 12 or 13 on websites like IGN pre-YouTube right up until maybe 2017 when I used to watch livestreams to see interviews, presentations, gameplay reveals etc. I even used to book a couple days off work to watch stuff without having to worry about going into work the next day.

Its a shame that it's gone, I understand why it's gone but it's still a shame.
