Nine Sols is on sale for 20% off on steam:

I haven't picked this one up yet, I intend to but I've been working through Black Myth: Wukong right now. Nine Sols is a metroidvania by Red Candle Games, the Taiwanese based developer that got in trouble on Steam a couple of years ago because of some assets they had in their horror game Devotion (which is an excellent game btw). I've heard Nine Sols is excellent though!
Gog has Once Upon A Jester on giveaway for a day and a half:

Redeeming it signs you up for their newsletter. You can easily unsubscribe yourself here afterwards.
Not exactly a deal post, but I figure this is the best place for it:
Sonic Generations
is getting delisted from Steam this week (September 9), so if you don't already have it in your library, this is your last chance to get it.Correction: it's getting delisted as a standalone game and will only be available as part of a bundle with other Sonic games.
It is full price on Steam and unlikely to go on discount before the delisting (but you never know). The best current price is through GameBillet at 18% off. Fanatical has it at 11% off.
If you have an active Humble Choice subscription, you can also get it via Humble for up to 20% off (depending on how many consecutive months you've redeemed).
Larian Publisher Sale including Baldur's Gate 3 for 20% off, all time low! It was the game of the year last year and no DLC so safe to buy:

on Gog too:

The Divinity games, specifically Original Sin 1 & 2, are also quite fun. The bundle is more expensive than buying them all individually though so take care.
+1, I didn't mention them because I think they've been at this price before, but it looks like it is a historical low for DoS2 at least!
I just bought the original Divinity games with that sale rounding out my Larian collection. Nice find.
Didn't you get the cRPG bundle from a couple of weeks ago? I thought it had those games already included, but you're welcome if they weren't!
It didn't have Divine Divinity and its arpg sequels.
ahhh that makes sense, I didn't realize there were more games haha. Enjoy!

[Prime members only] A TON of Prime gaming deals today that I literally can't remember besides Borderlands the Pre Sequel and Greedfall, some games are on GoG and some are on EGS:

Does Amazon have any regular schedule or cadence for updating their giveaway catalogue?
not that I can tell, but there is this blog post that I see that gets updated relatively regularly: https://primegaming.blog/prime-gaming-september-content-update-lego-the-hobbit-borderlands-2-shadow-of-the-tomb-raider-59a7ce4a4a05
Usually they push new updates Thursday after Epic, if /r/gamedealsfree is anything to go off of.
Fanatical has a new charity bundle in their pile of bundles, proceeds go to the War Child UK org. $5.50 for the bundle includes South of the Circle, Cook Serve Forever, Thea The Awakening, Death and Taxes, Assemble with Care, Eastside Hockey Manager, Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story, Arcade Spirits, and Helheim Hassle.
I recognized Arcade Spirits, I had a friend get pretty into it years back. I most recall that they were pleased with how it handled relationships and queer inclusivity. I'm also interested in Assemble with Care, I already fidget, break, and fix stuff and the art is cozy.
