Looking forward to it. I wasn't a huge fan of Persona, but this looks interesting. Suggestion: tag for "persona.5" should be changed to "similar.persona" or "similar.persona.5".

Been playing this and it’s been amazing!! So extravagant, love all of the flourish and style throughout everything - not just the UI, which is obviously jaw dropping, but animations, worldbuilding, character designs, and more. It really seems to be suffused with a creative energy and passion, with an imprint of every hand that touched the process at some point.
The demo is quite generous, and even just two hours in with only a paltry amount of mechanical systems revealed, it’s a rich and exciting turn-based RPG. Can’t wait for the full release!
Too bad it runs like crap on the deck, which is surprising given the graphics. Hopefully they optimize it later. EDIT: Apparently issues aren't as common as I thought? Seems like it can do 30 FPS,...

EDIT: Apparently issues aren't as common as I thought? Seems like it can do 30 FPS, which I don't really count as a particularly enjoyable experience.
I really like the idea of Persona and the music, but just don’t enjoy the gameplay loop. Maybe this will be more interesting for me. That said I pretty much always will wait for a sale.
Huh, I haven’t had any issues with my Steam Deck performance! What about the gameplay loop of Persona don’t you like? It does look like it has a lot of similarities so far, but I have heard that...

What about the gameplay loop of Persona don’t you like? It does look like it has a lot of similarities so far, but I have heard that e.g. it doesn’t have actual romances. It does seem to me that it’ll have equivalents to Social Links, a calendar system, etc…
Interesting! I saw people complaining about it in the Steam Deck reddit that it barely reached 20 fps and went based on that. Maybe I should give it a try myself. Persona for me can be summarized...

Persona for me can be summarized in two words: analysis paralysis. I never know how to spend my time, which monsters to fuse, who to use in battle etc. I just get incredibly stressed and start second guessing all my choices. Maybe I should just play the game with a 100% guide by my side 😅. I obsess about making the "best" choices, but when I have to do it, it takes the fun and relaxing side out of it.
Like the monster capture mechanic thing in the dungeons. I thought it was so annoying. I basically had to just look all the answers up to not miss catching it (I was also playing in JP which is not my native language so maybe there was some extra difficulty there). Looking at an excel sheet while gaming was not fun but giving the wrong answer was neither fun :(.
Which is a shame since I really love the style, art and music. I also like the VN-like storytelling, characters.. Should be right up my alley, but alas. Maybe I just need to find a better headspace for it, since I've been quite stressed IRL as well for a few years, so it's just too taxing of a game for me to wind down with.
My experience was using a spoiler-free 100% guide to get the true ending for P4G took out any stress for me. The monster capture stuff isn't something worth worrying about too much unless you...
My experience was using a spoiler-free 100% guide to get the true ending for P4G took out any stress for me. The monster capture stuff isn't something worth worrying about too much unless you really need a particular demon for some reason. The game is generally very forgiving, and there are almost zero wrong choices! It's ultimately a bit of a life sim, so a good mindset is to do what you enjoy or whatever feels productive (studying, grinding, etc).
Progress carries over to the main game!

Uhh, 64 GB for a demo. Does it include the whole game?
