Don't mix Hotizon and Motorsport up! Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport are kinda competitors while Forza Horizon is more arcade (I'd say more inclined towards Need for speed for example). GT/FM...

GT/FM are for people who like more "real" racing while FH (and NFS) are for people who just want to drive fast and have fun. I like both styles of games and pick the one I'm in mood for at the moment.
EDIT: In retrospecitve when I look at my post it sounds rude to me. I didn't meant it that way. It just appeared to me that you may have mixed up Motorsport with Horizon and I just wanted to differentiate them. Sorry if it sounded rude.

I knew MS was working to make more of their games cross-platform, but I didn't think they'd essentially be starting with exclusives (even if Forza, Halo, etc. have had PC ports). They haven't even brought Call of Duty to Switch yet, like they alleged they would during the Activision-Blizzard purchase.
Also I found Phil Spencer's recent comments about wanting to make future Xbox console hardware more unique kinda odd. But with this news, it makes a lot more sense. They want to their hardware to be more unique and maybe in the interim they're making their software more cross-platform until they have some "killer apps" for that unique hardware.

This change was signposted fairly significantly and the cross platforming of exclusives was a matter of when, not if. You may be right about both Halo and Gears, although I'd reckon Halo may actually be one of the last ones as the true Xbox exclusive. I consider the Halo series the poster child of the OG Xbox and I'm sure others think the same. Even if the latest entries barely register, the original couple of Halo's are cultural cornerstones.
I grew up in the years of "console wars" so this is kinda crazy news to me, I guess Halo and Gears are next?

Oh, I would like to play this game in the PSVR2.
