I am, at present, unbelievably busy, so I pre-made the chart this weekend, hoping that the leak was right, because it would save me precious minutes during a very crowded weeknight.

Turns out it was mostly accurate! 7 out of the 8 games were correct.

The leak I saw had them listed in alphabetical order. In building the chart early, I figured I'd try to guess the order. I have no way of proving this, but I got it almost correct! I had Sker Ritual above Dungeons of Hinterberg, but everything else was in line.

For anyone curious, the game on the leak that wasn't included was STAR WARS Episode I: Jedi Power Battles. In its place we got Havendock.

Also it's pretty much a monthly tradition now for me to go "wow, look at how well all these Windows games work on Linux!" But like, well, just look at that chart! Eight Windows-only games; eight games with great Proton reports.

Say it with me everyone: PROTON IS MAGIC.

I'm kind of impressed that Jedi Power Battles got remade at all. I remember liking it as a kid but every time I have heard people talking about it since then it's been negative.

I kind of want the Soul Reaver games because they were something I thought was really neat when they were new and didn't get to play them outside some demos. I don't think it's enough to make me resubscribe though; I did play Soul Reaver 1 a while back and while I think it was probably one of the best games of it's type for the day it came out, it didn't really scratch my itches that well.

Nobody Wants to Die and Dungeons of Hinterberg both could have won me, but for the former I don't have anything that can play it because it's not working on Steam Deck, and the latter my Zelda-like quota is currently filled by finally playing through A Link to the Past and will later be filled by Switch 2 versions of the last two games.

I like to use lutris -b gameid "output file path" to export lutris games to a shell script, and then add that shell script to steam library as a non steam game. This makes steam input//game overlay pretty much always work.

Just got an email from Humble that my plan is going up to $15 USD. The price increases hit other regions earlier and are now rolling out in the US and ROW regions.

Every good sale requires a full-price sacrifice in advance. The rest of us thank you for selflessly giving your money to the Discount Deities. Your offering has helped us all.

If you bought it on Steam you could request a refund. In my experience they've been really good about them.

Thanks for the tip! They've done that for me way outside the window for unplayed games, honestly more generous with refunds than I'd expect. Unfortunately for me, it was a Fanatical bundle and I already activated the key. C'est la vie, I ain't mad about the price or the games, just this bundle would've been the better deal and gotten me to resub if I hadn't bought it lol. I also got RoboCop, I never really engaged with the movie since I thought it was copaganda, but I've recently been told otherwise.

The original RoboCop is one of those films kind of like Starship Troopers that was almost completely misunderstood by the movie-going public at its release. People got caught up in the gore and violence and completely missed the biting criticism of corporatocracy and fascism respectively.

Those two films in particular kind of make me wonder if Paul Verhoeven has some sort of monkey's paw deal going on where he's allowed to make a great film with incisive social commentary, but it's doomed to be loved for all the wrong reasons because the blood and guts are so fun.

But then I remember this is also the dude who gave the world Showgirls, so maybe his monkey's paw is defective or something.

Dungeons of Hinterberg is absolutely brilliant. It's a relaxed game to play in your free time that features an improved (in my opinion) version of the Persona time management system. In Persona you can choose an activity to do in your "free time" and then the calendar will move forward. With that game you're carefully juggling your use of limited days and it's easy to miss lots of content. Whereas in Dungeons of Hinterberg there is no limit to the number of days so you can experience things in any order without pressure. Perfect for an hour of gaming after a long hard day of work once the kids go to sleep.

If you haven't played Dungeons of Hinterberg then I'd recommend the bundle just for this game. However I have finished Dungeons of Hinterberg so I'm on the fence of whether this bundle has anything I'd play or not.

The game is like simpler QWOP except as the title says you control the two legs simultaneously. At least they added a sliding button otherwise walking each legs would get boring real fast.
