Hi! I made another video essay. It examines the video game Dispatch, what I like about it, what I hate about it and also the my general problems with the Choose Your Own Adventure (CYOA) style of writing. In my opinion, Dispatch is a great example of how CYOA holds a plot back in mediocrity when it could've been great. What remains is a cast made endearing by the character interactions, and some genuinely funny writing.
Not when it's trying to make sexual assault funny, though.
