It doesn't have the same sort of community aspect to it at all, but Airtone is very good as a VR rhythm game too, if you're looking for more (and don't mind Japanese DDR-like music):...

Oh hell yea, I'm always up for new rhythm games and this one seems to be very Japanese arcade cabinet from I can see in the screenshots. I'll be sure to give it a go, danke!

It's designed for VR and has "programmed" songs, not auto-generated ones like Audioshield and co. (those can be fine too, but they're not really the same). It feels good to play and gets challenging pretty quickly. There's a decent amount of content too, I've played about 4 hours and have probably only unlocked about 15 of the 25 total songs so far (and there are 3 difficulties available on each, I can barely do the hardest difficulty at all yet).
I think my only complaints would be all "interface" things and not really the game itself:
The English voice-acting is awful, but you can switch it to Japanese after the intro/tutorial.
There aren't any "profiles", so my wife and I can't keep our scores/progress separate. Not a big deal, but would have been nice.
Restarting songs is a bit slow and you have to do a quick "calibration" thing at the start of every song to set which direction you're facing. That's a bit annoying when you're trying to get a high score or a "perfect" rating and you need to keep restarting often.
Other than those minor issues though, it's really good.
Nice. I'm assuming you're playing on a Vive, right? Any good recommendations in general? I've been trying to use it a bit more lately but the lack of content curation on Steam + the pricepoints...

Even though the refund system has saved me a few times in the past.

I have a Rift, but other than a few exclusives (that I think you can get working on Vive anyway) it's mostly the same. Some of my favorite VR games so far have been:
In Death - roguelike archery game, still in Early Access so it's a bit limited overall, but still really enjoyable. I also really like how they integrated the teleport movement into the game mechanics themselves.
Thumper - another rhythm-like game. It wasn't really made specifically for VR, but it works very well in it and feels great. One of my favorite games in the last couple of years, even in non-VR.
Pinball FX2 VR - I love pinball and have played a lot of non-VR Pinball FX2 and FX3. It's a bit annoying to need to re-buy the same tables in VR versions (and there aren't many available), but it's still really cool overall to play in VR.
Sprint Vector - pretty tough game (and tiring), it's a sort of speed-skating-like racing game that plays somewhat similar to games like Mario Kart. I haven't played it that much still but enjoyed what I've played. It definitely causes motion-sickness though, so if you're prone to that you'll probably want to stay away.
Oh wow, never heard of this. Does it use the Guitar Hero guitar? And if so, I'm assuming you'd need some kind of XBOX wireless transmitter connected to your PC or?

I'm so happy this is coming! I really hope it allows us to use our custom songs. The 10 songs that come with beat saber are fun, but the ability to put in custom songs is what keeps me coming back...

I think multiplayer would get boring pretty fast if you could only use official beat saber songs.
