Not gonna lie, I've been cautiously optimistic about RDR2 after the microtransaction mania of GTAO. Of course we have no guarantee this won't go the same direction, but the single-player experience described in this article sounds like a far better foundation for it than I ever expected. Against my better judgment, I haven't been this hyped for a game since Skyrim.

LOL yeah, same for me too. About the only game I am more excited for is Cyberpunk 2077. I wish Rockstar would hurry up and let us know if/when RDR2 is coming to PC though, since I have no desire...

I wish Rockstar would hurry up and let us know if/when RDR2 is coming to PC though, since I have no desire to buy a console just to play this game but just might have to if, like RDR1, they don't plan on porting it over. :(

And even with the controversy, is there not room for both serious examinations on potential problems as well as just general interest articles on the same subject? Not everyone wants (or cares) to read about workplace conditions at a company, especially claims of which are as yet unsubstantiated. And in this particular case, it seems it was this very article that you're questioning "the timing of" that spawned the "controversy" in the first place... so how can it possibly be "tone-deaf" or "malicious"?

Let me guess - they used computers. But then didn't have the basic decency to let other people with computers run the game? Figures. I hope they go bankrupt.
