Sigh, I used to love the RL events... but I am still not quite over the fact they sold to Epic. I really hope Epic doesn't follow through with their original plan to make RL an Epic Store exclusive, and until I know whether that will be the case or not, I am done buying crate keys for RL, even during limited time events like this.
Sorry Psyonix, I love you and your game but I just can't bring myself to support Epic in any way, shape, or form until they cut the anti-consumer shenanigans out.
I fell out of love with Rocket League even before that. The loot boxes, the "rocket pass". It all just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Selling to Epic was just the icing on the cake.

I paid $25 for the game originally and have over 3000 hours played, so I figured that since the game kept me entertained for so many hours, buying a few keys every month was the least I could do in return. It was annoying opening up a bunch of crates only to get absolutely nothing rare, that I wanted or would use... but since I wasn't really doing it for the loot anyways I wasn't too bothered. But yeah, with the whole Epic thing I can't even justify that to myself anymore.
The rocket pass basically pays for itself though, so I don't see a problem with that system. You spend 10 keys initially to get it, and then can earn up to 10 keys per season by reaching lvl 110, which I do every season... so the next rocket pass season doesn't actually cost me anything.
Too bad they haven’t fixed the bug on the Switch that gets you stuck at the start of the game. It makes ranked unplayable. I do enjoy the game but unfortunately I only have it on Switch.

Thank god. I can finally get back to grinding rank. I made it to diamond after roughly 300 hours of in gameplay, not including training hours which are at around 150.

I would be excited but since the whole Epic thing I have completely stopped playing. I refuse to support Tencent.

Is it the one with the camera getting stuck? One of the devs mentioned on reddit that bug should be fixed in the next update for Switch: https://www.reddit.com/r/RocketLeague/comments/bx3inh/patch_notes_v163/eq30b8x/?context=1
