My memory of it isn't great at this point; in fact, I've now realized it's been at least a decade since I last played it. That being said, I really enjoyed it. If I were to rank the Zelda games...

If I were to rank the Zelda games I've played it would probably be number two on my list. Breath of the Wild takes the top spot for the moment. I might have to go replay Twilight Princess to see if that budges the rankings any.
I listened to the soundtrack of the teaser trailer reversed and at around ~45 seconds I can hear a whispered "Help us...please..." Creeped me out a bit....
That's kind of a shame that they did so. I imagine they didn't want to scrap the desert section of the game, but I imagine they could have invented something else to do there had they decided to.

Probably not. This will be the Majora's Mask of BoTW. They basically laid all the groundwork (graphic style, gameplay mecanics, universe..) already so the next one won't take as long to make.

After watching the trailer a couple of times, I'm wondering if this is their reimagining of Zelda 2, since BotW was their reimagining of Zelda 1. Somebody is trapping Ganondorf under the castle...

Somebody is trapping Ganondorf under the castle (This being the comparison of the Zelda that was trapped in a sleeping spell in Z2)
Ganon(dorf) is in need of resurrecting.
If the hero (and princess) die, their blood fuels Ganondorf's resurrection. If not, then they find a way to keep Ganon(dorf) imprisoned while saving the person trapping Ganondorf under the castle (an ancestral Zelda?)

What did you think of Twilight Princess ?

Nice find.
If Link and Zelda are exploring the dungeon together, can we play as either? Possibly with co-op?

Huh. Interesting that they would do a direct sequel. Hopefully this won't wait until the console generation is over this time.
