Blizzard went through a lot of poop this year, and it didn't have to be Blitzchung in particular that made them decide to show a rougher than usual demo.

I wish the spells had more creative ways of being cast (mobas have innovated on that with vector targetting, for example), but it feels like everything has to be able to fit into a gamepad.
The open worls seems heavily targeted to have an always-online game. I don't think it's something that fits these kind of games, at least the core aspects of it. (They talk about horror aspects of the game, being alone was a core part of that in the first 2 games)
I don't think there was enough gameplay to form an opinion at this point, but I guess it looks...okay? It's another hack'n'slash game and it looks decent enough, but we'll see once it comes out....

I will say that I like how they switched back to the washed out colour palette that D1 and D2 used. D3's vibrant colors made it look like a game from a different franchise altogether.

It’s not clear to me how finding a mount or using them works in D IV. Can mounts die? How do you get back on them after you dismount? Will they get attacked by mobs and die? Can you do combat from your mount? It seems like it could be interesting, but I’d honestly just prefer classes having fast travel abilities like teleport or like the Witch Doctor’s spirit walk from D III.

I'm sure the gamplay is going to be wildly different two years after release anyway, so I'm not going to bother forming much of an opinion on it other than that I like that they're thinking about map traversal more. It always felt like a missed opportunity to jump around gaps and ledges like that.
But I am really enjoying the art style. It looks exactly like a massively uprez version of the classic Diablo art style. It's creepy and forboding and I like it.
Cue everyone forgetting about blitzchung completely.

What do you guys think of the diablo IV gameplay trailer?

At least it's not a loot shooter.
I can't believe people were taking that "leak" seriously.
