In a post social-revolution world i see the anonymous nature of the internet a naive assumption of a past long-gone.

There are many unique ways to identify a single individual surfing the web today. Staying anonymous feels more like fighting to control damage, than achieving a 100% privacy protected status. Everything we do outside of simple surfing is a privacy nightmare, and fingerprinting takes simple surfing into the nightmare too.

I suggest that the Australian government asks for face recognition AFTER the porn video ends, so they’ll have the most comprehensive database of weird human faces ever created.

What stands out the most here is this line:

"What Mr. Lech also failed to tell you was that he chose on his own to demolish the house rather than repair it, repour the foundation that wasn't damaged and built a bigger better house where the old one stood,"

Since the man had the money to rebuild the house he doesn’t need any compensation for the damage which he didn’t cause, right?

And he is also to blame because he choose to use his own property as he wished, after the event.

This is on the same level of reasoning of those people who accuse raped women of being guilty because of how they dressed up that day.

Honestly i see the click-driven journalism as the result of a devilish deviation of the business model and of late stage capitalism here.

Journals have to get their revenue somewhere i know, but journalism must balance revenue with the right to be informed along with quality journalism and in my opinion a click-driven work is unacceptable. Call me naive for that.

It's also a thought i've been having since I was a teen, and it didn't work out. New politicians in my country are just as bad as old ones, because they have to blend with a status quo in order to become politicians in the first place.
My motto is "they are all good guys until they enter parliament and become the bad guys they've been hunting for so long".

With the steady rise of extremist right-wings movement, populism and racism, the new politicians aren't getting any good at politics than their predecessors.
