I haven't gotten around to The Hex yet, but I really liked the developer's previous game Pony Island. He also just announced his next game yesterday, Inscryption: https://www.inscryption-game.com/

I think it will mostly depend what kind of games you like, this is a pretty varied set in terms of genres. Eliza and Night Call are visual-novel-ish, Shenzhen I/O is a programming puzzle game, Project Warlock is an old-school FPS, Frostpunk is a kind of dark survival building game, Book of Demons is like a simplified Diablo clone, and so on.

Most of them are pretty well-regarded overall, it's probably easiest to just take a quick look at screenshots/trailers from them and see if any appeal to you.

SHENZHEN I/O also features a neat little puzzle game called Shenzhen Solitaire that I fell in love with, even more so than with the base game.

Shenzhen Solitaire becomes available after solving a couple of schematics, or as a $1 standalone game if you aren't at all interested in the engineering bit.

Some kind of little solitaire game has become kind of a defining feature of Zachtronics games now. I think all of their recent games (including Eliza too) have had one.

I've actually wanted to play Eliza and Shenzhen I/O for quite a while. But keep in mind I have particular tastes.

Frostpunk is amazing. Check it out if you have any interest in citybuilders, or narrative games.
