Users voting on games is less "game awards" than it is "game statistics." It's just a matter of 1. how many people played the game and 2. whether it is at all good or not. Few people have played all games listed in any given category so they're just gonna vote for the ones they've played.

It makes me feel a little bad about those who actually put effort into their consideration, but I have to blame the system for working this way.
Yeah, there should definitely be an "abstain" option so people can still get the trading cards without skewing the results by having to vote for games they haven't actually played.
