There’s a title card in the video that says something like “4 frames from perfection”. By the end of the video we learn that humans bring that down to 2 frames. It struck me (after seeing the video posted on YouTube and finally seeing the title) that this is a much better title than the one that was used. “Super Mario Bros: Two frames from perfection” has a much better ring to it.

Anyway, Salt deserves praise for the editing in this video. He’s getting much better with each video he releases.

Super Mario Bros.: only two frames from perfection, in a heck of a long time!

I like this channel. It adds the human element without being over-the-top or drama-focused. Just friendly cooperation and collaboration between speedrunners and TASers. I'm a little confused about...

I'm a little confused about one thing from this video. In the final level, if was apparently discovered that double fast accelerations can save up to 5 frames (instead of the originally thought 1 frame). Does that not also change the TAS route? Or if the TAS was already doing this, then doesn't that imply this technique was already known to be faster?
