I actually really liked Kingdoms of Amalur. I remember some hype when it came out around the fact that its map was larger than Skyrim's. That may or may not be true, and it's certainly the inferior game, but I do appreciate its art direction and combat system. The worldbuilding is interesting, the skill trees are pretty cool, and there are a ton of lore-filled faction quests beside the main story. It's a shame things went the way they did for the studio because I genuinely enjoyed the game a ton. I might dust off the game and give it another play for old time's sake.
Apparently a remastered version of it was released last year too, that had completely flown under my radar.
Why even bother at that point. 14% of one paycheck seems like a microscopic amount of money compared to the 9 years of effort that went in to recovering it. They should have been paid the full...

They should have been paid the full amount, PLUS interest.
Because that's just how long the bankruptcy litigation process took. Them not sending out what they determined should be sent out just because too much time has passed is worse.
