Two decades of Alzheimer's research may be based on deliberate fraud

I think this is related to this article. Check the image in that article. I don't know the first thing about amyloid-β proteins but I know my digital image artifacts and it seems striking (these are scientists criticizing scientists using science, this is not a reddit armchair-investigation).

This is huge. The specific amyloid plaque many of the new drugs target may not even exist in any animal except the mice they specifically created to test stuff on.

One thing this article, oddly, completely skips over, is the timeline of the investigation ... no dates anywhere.
