    That's greatly concerning, and this tells me that the government are clearly trying to cover up scientific data to support their phased reopening strategy. I don't think we should lift all...

    I don't think we should lift all restrictions on 21st June, especially with the B.1.617.2 variant running amok.

    (Sorry for posting links to twitter, but it's a useful source of developing information) -So ~17% drop post-1st dose & 6% post-2nd dose for sympomatic disease (similar for both vaccines) no data...

    • no data on efficacy for severe disease
      -clear evidence of escape- as B.1.617.2 overrepresented among vaccinees (post 1 or 2 doses)
      - no data by age group

    To me this shows that we urgently need to get vaccines out to everyone as soon as possible.
