My wife got to take part in this show during the soft opening. She was a Disney Cast Member at the time so she wasn't eligible for the golden tickets (and I think they weren't handing them out yet) but she got to perform and actually won her show and made it to the finale (which she didn't win). However she loved the experience and a little girl even asked for her autograph after getting out of the final show. It was a really cool experience and she had a blast.
Later I ended up working guest control for Frozen Sing along show in the same location. I tell ya, you haven't really heard the songs from frozen until you've heard them sung by several hundred 7 year olds 5 times a day.
Ehh... That one surprises me less. The truly awful ones are weeded out before the stage experience and the bad ones get weeded out by the final stage performance. After that, they handed out 4000...

Super interesting that this show existed at all and that such an asymmetric experience was ever designed in the first place.
