My wife does an amazing job getting our animals to pose for photos, especially with her books. Here is Pippin and Darwin posing with her 3rd book.

Nova is doing so much better than last week (new diagnosis of diabetes plus acute pancreatitis). She's home, getting insulin - yet one more skill I have - refusing to take her oral meds (fine, it's your lack of pain pill I guess.) and otherwise doing so much better.

We're very glad to have her around, and not suffering, for a while longer. I'll add a pic once she poses.

My cat hasn't been holding food down for a while. He's a long hair, I'm worried he may have a blockage. I'm trying a new diet first to see if it helps. Otherwise, time to visit the vet.

Here is our newest friend Ami with banana not for scale. He's just over 8 weeks old and is doing great so far for just a little guy! He's using his pad 8 or 9 times out of 10, sleeps most of the way through the night in his enclosure, and is easily redirected when he's chewing something he shouldn't. He's such a cutie and has been a champ with everyone he's met in the few days since we got him. The older cats are doing well too and they haven't hissed or grumbled at all - they are just keeping their wary but curious distance for now.
