p.s. The second episode with with Blake Leeper, a Paralympic world record sprinter with no legs was also really good too. I haven't had time to watch the new one from today with his "Wellness Guru" though.
Yeah, Tosh has always had a knack for finding interesting "normal" people to interview, and is great at doing those interviews too. His "web redemption" segments on Tosh.0 were always my favorite...
Yeah, Tosh has always had a knack for finding interesting "normal" people to interview, and is great at doing those interviews too. His "web redemption" segments on Tosh.0 were always my favorite part of his show for that very reason. And that's also why the idea behind this new podcast excites me too.
And yeah Dr. Finke seems like a swell guy, and was remarkably quick-witted too. E.g. "Only on a smurf." I hope Tosh brings him back for another episode at some point.
Love Tosh. I listen to a comedy channel most days with many big name comedians and he's consistently the funniest guy on there. Rapid wit and sharp as a tack. This was great. I did actually learn...

This was great. I did actually learn a few things. Like the worst smell being an OBGYN is the feet lol. And the stuff Tosh wrote on his wife's mug and then the huge pic of it... he's crazy!
Nah. Tosh has made so many outrageous, obscene, irreverent, offensive, politically incorrect jokes over the years that I think at this point he's relatively immune from that leading to his career...
Nah. Tosh has made so many outrageous, obscene, irreverent, offensive, politically incorrect jokes over the years that I think at this point he's relatively immune from that leading to his career coming to an end. Especially since the difference between Tosh and most other "edgy" comics who make similar kinds of jokes is that you can tell Tosh is actually joking. He isn't being hateful and merely hiding that behind his jokes, and it's obvious that nothing he says is truly mean-spirited or intended to hurt anyone.
p.s. The song Tosh mentions with a part about his guest: Ryn Weaver - Pierre
On the Fourth of July, I met a man, Pierre
Lied about his age, but I didn't care
Spoke in broken English but the heart was there
In those eyes of sky and ocean blue
'Cause I wouldn't be with you
Says he can't believe he found me
Wraps his arms around me
Yeah-eah, eah-eah-eah-yeah

IMO this one was really funny and interesting too. I don't usually watch Hallmark movies, but have nothing against them. I did find it really surprising how much Tosh actually does seem to, unironically, love them, considering how cynical he is about almost everything else. I also thought Luke Macfarlane was a really good guest. And I love that he grew up not far from where I am currently living, and even know the "garbage hill" for skiing in his town that he mentioned. I've been to Boler mountain plenty of times. It may be shit skiing but it's great for tobogganing and snow tubing. :P
Also, LOL at Tosh saying he's not breaking his "no interviewing celebrities" rule since starring in 16 Hallmark movies automatically makes that person not a celebrity. :P

Thanks for posting! He has quite the knack for picking great guests. The OBGYN was hilarious and surprisingly wholesome!

What comedy channel are you using? Couple years ago pandora purged all the stand up and it never came back.

I have been enjoying them. A while back i wondered what happened to tosh. I assumed he said something so outrageous that he couldn't find work.
