What if the court saw other rights as generously as gun rights?

    I happened to come across this the other day, and I suppose that, if you think positive rights are a thing, this could have a decent argument in it, but the fact they chose "generous" and stuck it...

    I happened to come across this the other day, and I suppose that, if you think positive rights are a thing, this could have a decent argument in it, but the fact they chose "generous" and stuck it next to "gun rights" amuses me. Gun rights are not viewed "generously" - Otherwise we would not have things like "Extreme Risk Protection Order" laws.

      Considering the United States's gun homicide rate is multiples times that of the next highest developed country, I'd say our gun rights are pretty generous.
