Tildes Video Thread
Find yourself watching tons of great videos on [insert chosen video sharing platform], but also find yourself reluctant to flood the Tildes front page with them? Then this thread is for you.
It could be one quirky video that you feel deserves some eyeballs on it, or perhaps you've got a curated list of videos that you'd love to talk us through...
Share some of the best video content you've watched this past week/fortnight with us!
It's anime, and it's <1 minute long (1:35 with ending theme song)
Out-Going Little Shark
they have an official youtube channel but the subtitles are much much less well done than (?) fan subs. Just a splash of cute for your day.
Summoning Salt - The History of Blindfolded Super Mario 64

I like watching speedruns, and I like watching interesting challenges. I also like documentaries on games sometimes. Summoning Salt hits all 3 with this video
Cannibal Corpse Lounge Music
Just recently found this older video now upscaled to HD. It is both hilarious and a satirical critique on censorship.
Was (not Was) - Walk The Dinosaur
This is 36 years old but nevertheless has been an inescapable earworm for me all week, figured I’d share it with you fine folks. I can’t quite put my finger on why the music video is so compelling but I just want to keep watching it. I love the costumes, the randomness, the camerawork, the aggressive single-handed cowbell playing, the glorious ‘80s hair and sunglasses. Super catchy song.
Serious(ish) - Liz Meile, stand up comedian, talking about her dyslexia
Funny - Alanis Morrisette narrates your day - Holderness family parody

Clip from Vitality vs Koi - Valorant Champions Tour 2024: EMEA Kickoff
Context
Valorant's pro season started a few weeks ago, and they're currently in the middle of their regional "kickoff" events where teams qualify for the chance to play in the Championship in Madrid.
Two teams, Vitality and KOI, were playing an elimination match in the EMEA Kickoffs and KOI was getting destroyed. You could see the frustration on the players' and coaches' faces. And then this clip punctuated KOI's 8th round loss in a row.
(The only thing about Valorant's gameplay you need to know to understand the clip is that you are most accurate when you're stationary and shooting 2-3 bullets at time. You become disgustingly inaccurate if you fire your gun for an extended period of time, move, or jump. So inaccurate that you'd be lucky to land a single bullet on someone standing more than few meters in front of you.).
It's been a minute since I've watched official VCT games, what the heck is going on in EMEA??
I did really love the Colin and Samir video, I feel like I haven't been keeping up with streamers in general, but I do really like Ludwig a lot, he's not perfect but I think the side that he puts on the internet is at least one where he tries to set a good example, which I think is commendable.
Definitely not worth its own topic, but still worth sharing, IMO: ;)
