    I really enjoyed Pinocchio. It was a really well crafted film, and I particularly liked the voice acting and music.

    That being said, I honestly don't know if I like it more than Turning Red. I like them both for somewhat different reasons.

    I've been waiting for Inu-Oh to come out for a long time, and somehow I missed it. I also wanted to see Marcel The Shell with Shoes On but I guess I must have let that one pass me by as well.

    I'm really liking these more specialized categories. The TV categories have some really interesting nominees. I'm glad that The Owl House is there because that series has surprised me at times with how good the animation can get when they 'do a sakuga'. The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXXIII was also a fantastic watch; I'd honestly use it as the top example to show to people who still think The Simpsons is stuck in dull joke purgatory.

    The category for Character Animation - Film is also spot on; two movies actually got two nominations and I would agree that all of the animators nominated for the award deserve them. The Bad Guys is a movie that sold me entirely by the strengths of it's animation and visual style; I kind of hope it wins on the character design award as well.
