According to a film critic (whose name they misspelled) he’s heard that they’re reducing it. It’s hearsay.
While I wouldn’t be surprised if they slowed down a bit based on recent performance, as of right now, there’s no confirmation that that has happened.
I think the biggest cause of any potential slowdown likely stems from the recent arrest of Jonathan Majors for assault and harassment, since he plays the main villain in almost every Phase 5 film...

And depending on how that turns out they may end up having to cut him, in which case Kang will either need to be recast, or the whole of Phase 5 completely reworked.
Truth or not, that's a good idea. Marvel fatigue seems to be a real thing for many. Let people miss it for a bit, and come back stronger. Make each movie an event, like it used to be.

I gave up years ago and just decided it wasn’t worth trying to keep up. The only thing I have seen in recent years was Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness because it was directed by Sam Raimi.
I’m sure a lot of other people feel the same way. If there’s a reason to see a specific movie, then they’ll see it (they particularly like the character, etc)…otherwise they’ll just skip it.

While I keep up with almost everything - including the shows which I find can be really good - I also stopped going to the theater. The movies are on streaming 2-3 months after release anyway, and I no longer feel they are worth the ticket price. I don't think I have any Marvel fatigue to speak of, but these last few years have really seen quality dwindle. It feels like most of their more recent movies have been made in a factory.
So yeah I agree with your comment above. Releases need to feel like an event again

I still watch the movies, although rarely on release. The TV shows are usually too much for me though.
