Wiki of the ABC show:
Lee Majors plays Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stunt man who moonlights as a bounty hunter. He uses his physical skills and knowledge of stunt effects (especially stunts involving cars or his large GMC pickup truck) to capture fugitives and criminals.
Wiki of the game:
The game involves up to 40 players who control jellybean-like characters and compete against each other in a series of randomly selected mini-games such as obstacle courses or soccer. Players are eliminated as the rounds progress until, eventually, the last remaining player is crowned the winner. The game draws inspiration from game shows like Takeshi's Castle, It's a Knockout, Wipeout, and playground games like tag and British Bulldog.
Honestly they totally can merge both ideas together and I would be more interested than a movie about either one. Imagine 100 stunt people storming Takeshi's Castle.
Remakes haven't had a high success rate lately, and the 80's even less so (wasn't a fan of the new MacGyver); however, that trailer does look promising. I like that it is a movie, and of course...

A lot of toys were based on stunt/dare devil stuff from like the late seventies to mid eighties, I think that kids trying stunts they saw on TV was how our parents thinned the herd.
Lol, there are no original movies anymore. As soon as I saw it looked interesting with interesting characters I knew it had to be a remake, and I was right. Looks like the story is from an old TV...

There is just too much money invested in films now. The financial risk is way too massive for studios to not make the same, safe, middle of the road movie over and over. No studio will ever be willing to risk millions on a creative idea that might fail. Hopefully we see more 10 million or so movies because they are the only ones that will be creative. And if they hit, they will get sucked up by Disney to make 20 more of them
I mean in fairness it's not like this is a guaranteed money maker. No one really knows what it is, especially people below 50 probably. It's more risky than other IP.

Ok, thats actually could be interesting movie. Not deep, but fun to watch.
P.s. its not related to Fall Guys game.
Thank Christ. Not gonna lie, if that of all things got a movie adaptation, I would be immensely sad.
It would just be a supercut of the Minions movies with all the Gru bits cut out.
I feel like that would just be an American adaptation of Squid Game.

Then WHAT is the point

This looks lame to me. I’m sure I’m not influenced by the obvious failure of making this instead of The Six [B]illion Dollar Man.
