Oh man, Carpenter's music, Jamie Lee Curtis... This all looks amazing. Though, slightly off topic - what the fuck is with this trend of putting a 2 second trailer for the trailer at the beginning?

Also, getting real fucking sick of those mini trailers at the start of trailers.
Consider me intrigued and cautiously optimistic on this one after seeing the trailer and who is involved in the film. Blumhouse has produced some real stinkers in the past (and continue to) but...

Blumhouse has produced some real stinkers in the past (and continue to) but they have also produced some real gems recently as well... Get Out, Upgrade, The Belko Experiment. This actually looks like it could be one of the latter and has a nice "Michael Myers as Hannibal Lecter" feel to it.
This looks so good. I love the original Halloween movie. It's one of my favorite suspense/slasher films. I look forward to this. I set the theme as my cell phone ringtone every October.

Oh, like Halloween H20?
I will be passing this film. This is like the.. fourth reboot?
Isn't this a sequel to H20?
Nope.
This ignores everything except the first film.
Aw, very cool. Thank you.
So no Micheal being her brother, no Thorn (which I loved), no Resurrection, no H20..
Even the Halloween 2?
Yup.
This ignores everything past the first film. Everything.
