Dislike the movie all you want but acting like it's objectively "beyond shit" is really annoying for those of us who are still actually enjoying this franchise.

It's not "hate" the movie is just objectively bad. The side quest doesn't make sense and the main plot relys on the same thing most soap operas do, one person not telling another person something they clearly should have been told. And although the scene where the general rams the ship into the fleet looks cool as hell tbh, it breaks all future and past starwars space battles.
It's clear that the change of director shouldn't have happened. It seemed like the first movie was a bunch of setup for the second and third and although I didn't like it I can understand haveing a sub par movie to introduce and set up charicter arcs. But then the setup was all useless because they changed directors for the second movie and the characters arcs seemed to change as well.

The constant derision of the state of the franchise is one of the two only ways fans have of telling Disney that they are dissatisfied (the other being just not paying for their product). If everyone who dislikes TLJ just shut up and moved on, Disney would just keep on as they did. By causing a ruckus, Disney can in some way fix the direction of the franchise.
(I think if fans at least had a good unique Star Wars videogame to play, disney would be receiving a lot less flak)
I don't want to argue about the quality of the movies or what you think about them, but as someone who didn't enjoy the first 2 why do you still plan on seeing the third one? Genuinely curious

It's "Rogue" :) Rouge is french for Red. I don't understand why so many English speaking (even natively) get this word wrong :-/ Maybe because of how it sound pronounced?

Similarly, I often misspell Gandhi as "Ghandi", because "dh" is never used in English, yet "gh" sometimes is.

I wish Disney just committed to their director choice (be it JJ or Rian although I'd prefer Rian) and not switch it every movie.
I was astonished when I realized I didn't want to see Solo in theaters. It's a Star Wars movie! I should have been all over that. Disney just put out too many films, too fast.

I couldn't be more excited about bringing Richard E. Grant into the Star Wars universe. He's one of my favourite actors, absolutely immense talent. Withnail & I is career defining but there's so...

Hopefully he's not as criminally underused as in Game of Thrones.
Please be good. The first one was shit and the 2nd was beyond shit. Please let this one be so good it overshadows their shittyness.

I'm sorry but there's no way you know better than 90+% of film critics.

What's stranger to me is when English-French bilinguals get it wrong. Which is surprisingly frequent.
Damn I have been spelling it wrong all this time...

I think I have Star Wars fatigue, especially after TLJ. I just can't bring myself to really care about Star Wars anymore.

In his defense, he's older than the rest of the cast. I doubt I'll look as good as he does at 81.
Maybe you just need to start wearing more capes.
