How do you keep track of your physical media?

I’ve been using Letterboxd for a few years to track what I watch.

But I’ve got a large collection of physical media and sometimes it’s tough to remember exactly what I have when looking for something to watch. Plus the eternal “Did I lend that to a friend?” question.

If anyone has any ideas on how to keep track of this stuff, I’d love some suggestions.

I don't use it but Filmogs is essentially Discogs for logging your different copies of films. Filmogs is to Letterboxd as Discogs is to RYM, basically.

Might be good for people who have a lot of older films across different formats.

    Using Google Sheets I use

I have one sheet for Movie input and another for TV input. I then copy those values over to their respective sheets.

It can be as simple or as complicated as you like.

    Here's a screencap

I don't keep a lot of physical media, but it'd be a breeze to catalog all of your media. If you can find a decent barcode API, you could even set up a little scanning system. :)

Still worth checking out though :)

I use Libib, and it's worked great for me so far.
