I got it in my mind to try getting all the platinum trophies for the Project Diva games, so I've been alternating between f, F, X, and Future Tone. I absolutely love all of them -- it's refreshing to play rhythm games that aren't just notes crossing a line on a bland static background, and they feel full of personality. Not really a fan of the progression in X though (to platinum it, you have to beat each song at least nine times, which is... excessive).

It's not FOSS, but I've been pretty happy with Resilio Sync Home Pro. When I looked at file syncing software last (a few years ago), Syncthing was just not working well for me, although I can't remember the specific reason why -- I think it had something to do with Windows and Android support being weak at that time.

I keep a NAS set up as a master copy of all my shares and then use selective sync as appropriate on clients.

The original reason I subscribed to a VPN service was because of something dumb my university did. They had two Wi-Fi networks -- one for students/faculty and another for guests. The student/faculty network could connect to internal services, the guest one couldn't. Due to an account screw-up I didn't notice until years later, I couldn't actually log on to the student/faculty network, but the guest network worked just fine. I still needed to use the internal services though. The dumb part is that you could connect to their internal services just fine over the public Internet. So, in order to turn homework in, I connected to the guest network with a VPN.

Since I graduated, I use it for a bit of feel-good security when I'm on a public hotspot and so that I can access certain geoblocked content.

I'm a big fan of Vivaldi, although since it's halfway-closed source it might not be the best browser perceived security-wise. It has a lot of features out-of-the-box that I find a bit too valuable (side tabs, page capturing, lots of behavior customization) and it still feels like a slightly-older browser in some respects (I like having a status bar...).

Window manager addon thing: DisplayFusion. Gives me an easy way to pretend I'm using a tiled WM, plus has some really slick wallpaper management functionality.

Web browser: Vivaldi. It's not perfect, but it's the only browser that doesn't seem keen on simplifying the UI down to nothing.

Messages: Telegram, Discord. Don't love either at this point though -- they both feel like they're trying to do too much more than just messaging.

Text editor: Notepad++. I don't like how heavy VS Code or Atom feel, but I'm also too lazy to learn vim or emacs.

File sync: Resilio Sync. Set it up years ago, been working perfectly since. Lets me keep everything on my NAS until I need it.

Gaming: Steam, Battle.net. Most of the games I end up playing are on one of those two platforms. I've also got Origin and Uplay accounts, but I pretty much never play EA or Ubisoft games, so they go unused most of the time.

Music: dBpoweramp (to rip CDs), foobar2000 (to edit individual tags and rename files), MP3tag (to batch edit tags), MediaMonkey (to organize and sync to my DAP).

Notes: OneNote. Sensible interface, stylus support, good device support. Was using Evernote until they added the device limit on the free tier when it felt like it hadn't been improved in years.

Most other stuff (email, podcasts, etc) I do either in a browser or exclusively on my phone.

That's "Weird Al" Yankovic's "Buy Me a Condo" from In 3-D, for those curious.

Black by Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi. Especially with Norah Jones's vocals, it just puts me in a great state of mind.

I enjoyed my PE classes for the most part, although I think my experience is somewhat atypical. In my elementary school, there was a general sense that winning or losing didn't really matter, so no one made a fuss if someone played poorly. In high school, my classes were told something like "as long as you show up on time and do something vaguely active for an hour, you pass", which was great. It provided just enough incentive to exercise while not being so overbearing as to turn me off exercise for life.
