What's your most comforting tracks? Mine would be Queen of the Meadow by Elysian Fields.

The track is so amazingly calming, and it's got a sound that makes you feel amazingly refreshed. It's an instant improvement on any kind of bad day.

Deep Peace by Devin Townsend is a song that no matter how terrible I feel, no matter how depressed or sad I'm feeling, I can listen to it and calm right back down.

For me, it'd probably be Real Estate - White Light. I find this band's music to really put me at ease

I'm gonna cheat with a one-song album: Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull. It goes back, I think, to when I couldn't sleep one night, my dad gave me his cd player with that on it. I didn't fall asleep in the 45 minutes it was playing, but it relaxed me, and always has.

On bad days I like to listen to Heavenly Day by Patty Griffin. It reminds me of all the good things in world.

I've got a few, in no particular order

Down in the Valley — The Head and the Heart
    Motion Sickness — Phoebe Bridgers
Concerning the UFO Sighting Near Highland, Illinois — Sufjan Stevens
Miserere Mei, Deus — performed by the Choir of New College, Oxford (the treble in this always gives me chills)
    Falling Ashes — Slowdive
    Taro — Alt-J (∆)

...and really a considerable amount of my entire spotify. Most of what I listen to is comforting in some way, but here are a few highlights.

Black by Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi. Especially with Norah Jones's vocals, it just puts me in a great state of mind.

Anything from Tycho's Dive album. It helps me relax just as much as it it helps me focus and crank out some work.
