I found this extensive comment on r/movies particularly informative regarding how much new footage this cut of the movie will contain. TL;DR:

    TL;DR:

Zack Snyder's Justice League releasing next month, which is 4 hours, will contain at minimum 3.5 hours of footage we never saw.

Per Wikipedia [citation needed] the recut cost another $70M, not sure how they justify that...

They're going to probably make bank on having a spare Marvel scale release on their streaming platform, even without a rabid fanbase, and that's a steal for $70 million.

Why is the trailer in such a weird ratio? The image is practically square, is that 4:3?

It looks like the IMAX release is going to be 4:3 and the theatrical in widescreen [citation]. It's an odd choice, but hopefully both are available.

A quick search reveals all my local theaters are shut down, and I'm not even sure if there are any in my state open at the moment. Regardless, I wouldn't count on anything being open in a world where all it takes is another surge before we end up on lockdown again.

yeah, I believe I'm in the same boat. Four hours + a fifteen minute intermission (assumed, no evidence) is also a long time in the theatre... especially for this film.

I suppose this can very well be awesome, but I'm so tired of darkness, drama, and gravitas in super-hero movies... it's boring and spent.

I'm mostly tired of darkness. Give me a cheerful superhero movie any day.

You may like The Shazam movie. Deadpool also comes to mind.
