Apart from the sponsor issue, which I didn't know of since I have blockers on YT. I liked the performance. Every couple of months I go to Tiny Desk performances and they are great. I can spend a whole afternoon just listening to music - great find.

NPR could've done a bit more due diligence in selecting a sponsor, which tarnishes an otherwise great performance.

p.s. I also added all the non-music timestamps to this video (and most Tiny Desk performances too), for those who want to add it to a playlist and have it play through without all the talking parts. Just set 'Non-Music Section' to 'Auto skip' in Sponsorblock's Options.

I have sponsorblock on the YT app and on my pc, but it opens on an internal browser through Three Cheers. I can't seem to get it to associate with the app.

So you could always try asking @talklittle if he can try to sort that out in his next update of Three Cheers.

Under Three Cheers settings, does it use the correct app if you set YouTube player to External app?

It defaulted to Firefox. Which is likely because I'm using ReVanced and the link association is busted. I reinstalled ReVanced YT and it started working, so TC was working as intended.

If the browser is Firefox, there's an option in the menu (with the youtube page loaded) to "open in app"

There's plenty of people on YouTube more eloquent than I am in describing why they're a shitty company and they go waaay in depth showing you all the ins and outs.

I guess I should look into this, but I used BetterHelp several years ago (it was a free work benefit at the time) and my therapist through the platform was definitely licensed and credentialed. Now you’ve got me wondering if the service has been enshittified since I used it, or if I was just lucky.

It's not that there aren't licensed individuals on the platform; they just don't check nearly as well as they pretend to.

I see - in general, I've always been skeptical of companies that rely heavily on advertisements like these.
