I don't have a very broad knowledge of electronic stuff in general but I'll give you some of my (mostly) instrumental favorites:
2814 - 新しい日の誕生 (Atarashii Hi no Tanjou) - Yeah, it's vaporwave, but it's mostly ambient and incredibly atmospheric. Wonderful soundtrack to imagine nighttime cyberpunk Tokyo to. Burial - Untrue - Future Garage, heard a few people I know who love it describe it perfectly as the soundtrack to a nighttime walk in London, I think? Also really atmospheric. Has vocals but not too much. James Ferraro - Live @ Primavera Sound 2012 - Imagine walking through a rain forest but it's all shiny and chrome and all the animals are either cyborgs or robotic versions of themselves. That's the vibe I get from this set. Samples vocals lightly but nothing other than that. Gachet - Elite Sounds (Side A) - Jungle classic. That's about all I can say about it. Ryoji Ikeda - Dataplex - Microsound, uses high pitched and really small samples of sounds. That's the best way I can explain it. Do not play where pets can hear.
I got you, OP. My favorite electronic album from 2015: Daniel T. - Tetrachromat. It was on our Best Of 2015 is /r/listentothis. Let me know what you think!
Woah, I’m surprised. Listen to Animus Vox. I’m not an expert on The Glitch Mob, so don’t give it up after just this one song. I think their catalog would interest you though.

One more thing while I have your attention. A song I like to share with people who are into out-there electronic: Random Rab - Lines of Rain. @Amarok, remember this one?

When I need to crank through some work, Dive and Sunrise Projector are my first go-to albums. I’ve gotten to hang out with Scott on a few occasions, and he’s a genuinely kind and interesting person.

I listen to a lot of instrumental electronic music, and quite a lot of synthwave and similar genres. I'm sure I probably have some recommendations that you'd enjoy, but it's difficult without an example of what you're looking for. Maybe I'll just try recommending some specific songs/artists and we can try to do it twenty-questions style. Let me know if the song seems to be kind of what you want, and if not, if you can try to express why it's not right, that would help.
Haha alright, a few other artists/songs to try, spreading out a bit. Let me know if any are warmer/colder: Carpenter Brut - Disco Zombi Italia Dan Terminus - Avalanche Danger - 22:41

A few more:
Carpenter Brut - Inferno Galore (I know you didn't really like the last one, but I picked a bit of a weirder Carpenter Brut song deliberately, give this one another shot)
Haha, I was pretty confident you'd like them (and laughed when I saw the "Motherfucker, did you just recommend a combination of synthwave and metal?" response). I'll try to think of some other...

I'll try to think of some other recommendations for you, but you definitely seem to be looking for an extremely specific style and I'm not sure if I know much that will fit it.

We've got quite a pile of mostly-instrumental electronic artists year over year in the listentothis bestofs. If you visit the spotify account page you can see there are three electronic sampler playlists for the last three years. I'm sure you'll find something you like in there. You might even find some stuff that expands your tastes a bit as well. ;)

I haven't DJ'd in a couple years, but here's a couple youtube channels I used a lot back then
I had started a post about how Syzygy was my goto and were the best, but had disappeared. It appears they are back. I have all of their older songs on hard copy and haven't rechecked this new channel but it seems roughly the same.
Some immediate suggestions (a few years old since I hadn't checked til now)
There's offshoots of those channels and a few tumblrs I used for music back then, but if you're cool with music a couple year old there's a goldmine there.
Edit: Your tastes were a bit hard to pick up on without any examples, so I picked some rough stuff I felt fit around it. My main loves at the time were production heavy with a bit of future/trip sound vocals when necessary. Also a sucker for glitch though not much of that here. Lemme know if none of it fits, I bet I can get closer.
Edit 2 : I realize the majestic casual now isn't instrumental, but there's some on their channel that is. Those were my favorite examples off majestic.
I'm going to throw out some suggestions, let me know if anything clicks and I'll follow up. D&B: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIxMv2RA1yw Chillout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy2GuA2kmOA...

Also, not totally instrumental (there's a sentence in there), but this came to mind, so I'm just adding it in case The trees grew emotions and died, by Cold Cave.
EDIT: OK, let me add also Las barbas indómitas. Not sure which genre this falls into. Experimental, I guess. I especially like this one.

Try this - Amorphous Androgynous - "Tales of Ephidrina". Give it a a bit to get started. I had this on cassette tape back in the day. I remember one side of the tape being better than the other. :) It's clearly not new, per se. New to you, though!
I see that. It's also very ambient/trance. It's served as background music for many a conversation or road trip. I feel like it's the middle-->end of the album that's better. The beginning is...

Do you know of MNDSGN or Shlomo? Maybe also some of Aphex Twin’s work (e.g the track Alberto Balsam), though a lot of it might be a bit too much. More upbeat might be something like Bicep or The...

EDIT: Just read your reply to Deimos. Maybe my suggestions are way off!

I'm really liking 2814. Thanks for the introduction.
You should check out Tycho!
It's some of my go-to study music, along with Bonobo and those lofi chill hop streams. I love relaxing instrumental stuff.
Good luck in your search!
I got you, OP. My favorite electronic album from 2015: Daniel T. - Tetrachromat. It was on our Best Of 2015 is /r/listentothis. Let me know what you think!
Based on your feedback on the Dan Terminus track, this is my recommendation. Hopefully it’s new to you!
I’m gonna assume you’re a glitch mob fan too.
Also, thoughts on this song? And have you ever tried posting to /r/ifyoulikeblank? I’ve had a lot of success finding new music there over the years.

That's pretty cool! I'm glad to hear he's as chill as his music.

Here's a song from a pretty new album that I've been listening to lately: Isidor - Power Fighter 3000
Haha alright, a few other artists/songs to try, spreading out a bit. Let me know if any are warmer/colder:

It might be pushing outside the style too much, but try: The Algorithm - Trojans
I love Danger just for the way they name their tracks. Thanks for introducing me to them.
I think it's kind of an interesting gimmick (if I remember right, he names it whatever time it is when he finishes the song), but I've also found that it's a bit annoying when I'm trying to remember which songs of his I like the most.

Pilot Priest may do it for you, and maybe Mitch Murder. Lazerhawk?

I haven't DJ'd in a couple years, but here's a couple youtube channels I used a lot back then
Syzygy
Majestic Casual
I had started a post about how Syzygy was my goto and were the best, but had disappeared. It appears they are back. I have all of their older songs on hard copy and haven't rechecked this new channel but it seems roughly the same.
Some immediate suggestions (a few years old since I hadn't checked til now)
Mr Carmack - Humbled
Sam Gellaitry - Paper
813 - Secret Tune
Josh Pan - Hermes
Mr Carmack & Colta - Get Fresh
SKVTR - Only You
Oshi - I Love You
I got plenty of branches off of those examples, though my catalogue is at least 2 years dated at this point.
I believe it's still a thing, and I would highly reccommend Majestic Casual
The Weeknd - Wanderlust |Snakehips Mix|
Raury - Cigarette Song Snakehips Mix
Ellie Goulding - High For This Weekend Remix
There's offshoots of those channels and a few tumblrs I used for music back then, but if you're cool with music a couple year old there's a goldmine there.

Late edition from elsewhere: Point Point - Morning BJ

I'm also going to add a track with a few vocals to start, but it is one of my favorites: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwZa5vn4XSs
future house maybe? Tchami - After Life (Feat. Stacy Barthe)
complextro Black Tiger Sex Machine & Lektrique - Religion (Far Too Loud Remix)
Another suggestion here... Can you find what you're looking for at musicmap?
You're welcome :D
No idea if this fits, and you have a lot of suggestions already.

Are you familiar with Peter Guja?
Dreamsters by Tipper and a lot of his other stuff might be up your alley.

Just thought of Todd Terje, might hit closer to home, might also be way off. 😛
