Comment on What is a childish thing you still do while being an adult? in ~talk
tnkflx Are we... related? :DMy girlfriend likes to tell me that I’m a 13 year old trapped in a 30 year olds body.
I game religiously which still has some stigma of being childish despite the average gamers age is late 20s or early 30s now.
Dirty, immature jokes never get old.
Bouncing boobs will always get me to stareAre we... related? :D

However my question is mainly...what exactly do I do now? Specifically, will new messages in misc automatically go to my inbox, or is there something else that must be done? I'm relatively sure the webpage can't be used to access messages from the mailing list.
Yes, if you are subscribed, you will receive a copy of every e-mail sent to this mailing list. Nothing else you need to do except maybe set up some e-mail rules such that OpenBSD mailing list messages are sent to the same folder for instance. (Filtering on "List-Id" in the sources of the e-mail messages is the easiest).
I see that you mentioned you're a hip young teenager, so you were probably not "on the internet" 20 years ago :) Here's a couple of warnings/comments/remarks about e-mail, usenet & mailing list etiquette that you might encounter:
- Mailing lists are public and indexed by search engines. Remember that :)
- Some people don't like it that you include ('cc') their personal e-mail address when replying to the mailing list.
- Do not top post. Some people don't care, others do. Personally, I find top posting ruins the flow of message thread.
- For OpenBSD specifically, their help & man pages are very detailed and up to date. Don't ask a question on the mailing list before using Google and reading the man pages.
Any other questions, just ask and I'll help out!
Update: I didn't know OpenBSD had their own netiquette page :) https://www.openbsd.org/mail.html

There's no pairing, no PIN codes, no differences between Bluetooth versions, no batteries. It Just Works.
For the record, I also don't use Bluetooth for my keyboard and mouse either as the battery usually bugs out at the worst time and really, with this whole going green thing going on, do we really need more battery usage?

Always make time to explain things to more junior people.
-
Learn to explain difficult things in simple terms. A good way to practice this is to explain CS things to non-CS people. I still struggle with this every day and I am in awe of people who can do things. (My non-technical friends wanted to know about 'blockchain'...)
-
Don't disparage people for using the 'wrong' operating system or 'wrong' programming language. Everyone works differently.
-
DRY: Don't Repeat Yourself. If you find things that you're doing repeatedly, script & automate it.
-
KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid. Don't make things overly complex.
-
Never stop learning. I cannot stress this enough.
-
Build a network both inside and outside of the company you're going to work for. Unfortunately, 50% of getting a (new) job is knowing people, the other 50% is skill.
-
Don't be afraid to ask for help.
-
LEARN ABOUT SECURITY! SQL injections, cryptography, hashing, XSS, CSRF, service authentication, etc, etc...
-
Raspberry Pi Kubernetes cluster.
