We all know the world is top-heavy when it comes to where people live. But a lot of us forget just how much space the Pacific Ocean takes up! Now that I think about it... instead of an "eastern" and "western" hemisphere, we could talk about a "land" and "water" hemisphere.
Okay... that was truly fascinating. Of course, I had to go to my own physical world globe to check that Pacific-centric view for myself - and it's valid. That's quietly amazing.

I'm not quite as strict about tags as some people. I'll add tags that I think are useful, and I'll replace tags that could be improved, but I usually won't bother deleting tags just for the sake...

If a poster thinks their topic should be tagged as "interesting", I have no interest in deleting that tag. ;) Maybe they're starting a trend!
But wait until other tag-editors see your post, and see if "interesting" survives the process...

I see it frequently with lwn.net articles and they’ve stated before that people sharing those links is a good source of new subscribers.

I didn't think this was possible but the image of the earth being almost entirely ocean on one side was eye opening and interesting
