For that kind of money you’d be hard pressed someone else - sure you could take a risk on an unknown - but from what i saw (mainly from fantasy football, rather than watching their games) he was a pretty decent player for them. Any spurs fan have any more insight ?

    He’s a fantastic player, he’s just had a terrible season. My theory is the World Cup was such a big issue for players fitness and mentality that Spurs basically were unable as a team to find the pre World Cup form again which led to the sacking of Conte and set of awful results.
