Having said that, I was very sceptical when I heard they planned to run from four different locations. That doesn't seem to be a structure used by other top teams and I think that weighed against them. Having said that, F1 was only letting them in over their dead body, so this is more of an academic concern.
Yes, F1. This is exactly what we want! Less teams! More greed! Love to see it. About a year and a half ago I finally got into this motorsport. It's the first real sport I actually engaged in and...

It's the first real sport I actually engaged in and it's been fantastic. I'm very disappointed to see how this has proceeded. I wonder what Andretti's operations now are going to look like, considering they were already building their facilities and preparing for 2025.
WEC, IMSA, DTM, and WRC could always use your love, too! None of them are perfect, but it seems like the top fuckery is reserved for the "top" of the sport.

The most difficult part is just starting to watch something. I don't know how to get into WEC, IMSA, etc. I guess I'll try to catch them on one of the weekends I have free time

IMSA is probably the easiest to get into since they make their content easily available. They post short race highlights, extended race highlights, and full race replays for free on YouTube. If...

If you're in the US, you can only watch IMSA races on Peacock and NBC platforms but the rest of the world (and US folks with VPNs) can use imsa.tv for free.
Well, here's a new development. That meeting that FOM apparently tried to setup? They sent it by email and it went to spam. This is becoming quite ridiculous.

on one hand it's very funny but on the other I completely believe it happened. My email providers have sent plenty of important emails to spam, to the extent that I now check it like a second inbox.

To add to this MotoGP (+ Moto2 and in particular Moto3), EWC, Nürburgring 24h are also great events to watch. Lots of competition.
