    An obsessive running friend of mine told me about the Barkley several years back and now it's my go-to conversation topic whenever I talk with other runners (because I don't know enough about running to talk about normal topics).       Here's an article. I tried to find an article from a running/marathon site but they were shorter on details (and as a layman I needed all of them). Ugh, I can't imagine how incredibly frustrating...

      Looks like four people finished in the last hour plus one person who came from the wrong direction so it doesn't count.

      Ugh, I can't imagine how incredibly frustrating that would be. After over 60 hours being just a little confused and taking the wrong trail or whatever happened, but ending up at the right place ... I'd be so upset.
