Well, I hurt myself. You know how they say that a falling knife has no handle? Neither does a falling tire! I was getting a tire down from the tire rack in my garage, and it slipped, and I tried to catch it. I dislocated my pinky finger, and I did a number on my elbow. That tire is 78 pounds, and it was not something I should have attempted to recover one handed; it was wildly stupid.

Anyways, no real damage to my hand - I popped the finger back in, which is not what I should have done, and it was black and blue for a few days, but no lasting damage to it at all. The elbow requires physiotherapy, and I have a bunch of exercised to do several times per day. I cannot fully extend or fully contract my right arm, and it is definitely a lot weaker than normal; pushups and curls are both right out.

There are worse injuries to get, and I lucked out on my hand. Hopefully I'll be able to grip and throw frisbees by the spring.

Put down my dog this weekend after she hasn't eaten for the better part of a week. She was over 20 years old and she was around for more than enough time to kick around this dust bin, but it's still difficult to have to make the decision, and I'm glad she's not hurting any more. Light weekend otherwise.

I've been sick most of the week! It's not covid at least, probably just a cold.

I had something of a three day weekend, except the third day was me taking off work unpaid because I had a day of health classes set up so that wasn't actually very fun or relaxing.

The husband decided to work through the weekend so I spent most of it alone. I ended up finding a lot of shows on Netflix that sound interesting. One of the more surprising things was watching The School for Good and Evil, which I was avoiding because it sounded super derivative and generic. But it actually really surprised me; it may have been filled with cliches but it managed to be very compelling, and I really liked the production design all the way through (especially the visual designs, from sets to creatures and even the costumes). The plot even managed to throw me a couple of surprises.

One of the group also taught me Dropfleet this past Wednesday.
