Whats your method for writing todo lists?

Do you use an app? Old school pen and paper? If you are using an app which app?

I am always struggling with this and haven't found a method that works for me so i am interested on what others use.

I've tried a few. Todoist is my favourite by far. Solid mobile app, integration with my computer, all I need. I still use Google Keep for quick notes and was partial to todo.txt if you're that...

I still use Google Keep for quick notes and was partial to todo.txt if you're that kind of person!

I've tried lots of to-do list things, but I keep coming back to the Hipster PDA.
