    That is exciting, but XFCE being what it is, it'll be a slow process. I would love to see it work, and may consider using XFCE again when they get even experimental Wayland support.

    Has the issue of screen recording been solved yet in Wayland? I remember that quite a while back it was impossible to do a screen recording or stream from a Wayland based system. Anyone know if...

      Yup, it's actually very convenient and nicely integrated into OBS if you use pipewire.

        Have any mainstream video call apps started using this feature yet? Skype/teams/slack/zoom etc? Arguably I hate all of them, but in job interviews there is little choice

          Zoom has, as of a little over a month ago, and it seems to work quite nicely.
