Glad to see the tech is being used for accessibility purposes, as that fueled my initial desire (for ADHD though, not visually/hearing impaired).
I wonder what OEMs are involved in manufacturing this. Particularly the display engine. It doesn't seem like there are a lot of public companies working on this stuff quite yet. I anticipate we'll have an AR arms race in the not-so-distant future. And I refer to true smartglasses when I say that, without the restricted FOV that the Apple headset and similar VR headsets have.
The Envision Glasses site says "Built on Google Glass Enterprise Edition 2", and Google says they use the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR1 for that version. So presumably the OEM is Qualcomm.
