Be interested to see if the other Twitter competitors saw bumps as well. The appeal of a social media platform depends on how many people are already using it, so big dramatic sudden migrations like this are an ideal way to get a new one on strong footing. My biggest hope is that multiple new sites capitalise on Twitter's decline and in the end we get a less-centralised social media ecosystem out of it.
Don't have any official sources for this but have heard through my software engineering circle that Threads has also seen a bump is daily user signups, with a big chunk actually coming from Brazil.

Social media site Bluesky registered almost 2mn new users in just four days as Brazilians flocked to the platform following the suspension of Elon Musk’s X by the country’s Supreme Court.
I had high hopes for BlueSky as an X killer. Similar interface, the promise of federation. Now it seems to have a lesser feature set than X and it is mostly deserted. Maybe it will become a...

I actually think BlueSky is a pretty clever platform – I think the real issue is the incredibly strong network effects on social media; I think BlueSky will eventually be able to overcome these...

The feature set for Bluesky started out pretty minimal, but they add to it with each release. I'm not sure there's anything X has that I care about. (Longer posts would be nice, but it's...

Also, when using X, you have to fight it to avoid seeing garbage messages. For example, it adds unrelated posts to conversations. BlueSky seems cleaner.
Apparently the next big feature for BlueSky is video and I am wary.
I’m still waiting for a Mastadon/BlueSky viewer client where I can view a select group of users timelines, aggregate them in one place, and not have to have an account to view it. AFAIK, that...
I’m still waiting for a Mastadon/BlueSky viewer client where I can view a select group of users timelines, aggregate them in one place, and not have to have an account to view it. AFAIK, that should be possible even if the protocols aren’t compatible if a viewer just incorporated both of them, similar to RSS/ATOM back in the day, no?
Looks like both Mastodon and BlueSky have RSS? I haven’t done it, but I think you could already do this, provided you know which users you want to follow.

I used to use this years ago to cross-post my blog stuff from my personal blog to facebook at the time (like i said, years ago)...and it worked wonderfully! And, at a quick glance, seems to support connection to bluesky. ;-)

Eugen Rochko, head of Mastodon development, commented on that a few days ago actually. Looks like sign ups are up for Brazilians on Mastodon
That is good news, I think.

TL;DR (which is essentially the entire article)

Closest I found was Openvibe: https://techcrunch.com/2024/07/09/openvibe-combines-mastodon-bluesky-and-nostr-into-one-social-app/
