From a Reuters article on the same thing:
Arm has given Qualcomm a mandated 60-day notice of the cancellation of the licensing agreement
"With a trial fast approaching in December, Arm's desperate ploy appears to be an attempt to disrupt the legal process, and its claim for termination is completely baseless. We are confident that Qualcomm's rights under its agreement with Arm will be affirmed. Arm's anticompetitive conduct will not be tolerated."
60 days is not a lot of time to make any even half baked change to another platform.
This behavior probably only hurts ARM in the long run. I would hope that this pushes the tech industry towards embracing open standards and putting development work into RISCV. In reality I can't see that, and companies that do work on RISCV are likely to not share all of their work.
The main audience for Bloomberg subscriptions is people who are provided one by their company as part of their official duties. As a result, said audience has a very inelastic demand curve.

Anyone have a paywall bypass? Bloomberg seems to think I might want to pay 275€/year for access. How is that even close to reasonable?
