    The title makes it sound as if he created his own Android phone from scratch. He basically assembled a Galaxy S9+ from parts he bought at the market.

    It’s still an interesting video though. I’ve enjoyed all of his videos so far. The one where he visits a custom PCB factory is pretty cool.

      Yeah, I was expecting more of a build-your-own-PC type experience, but this was still really interesting. I had no idea that something like this was even possible! Thinking back to my time in Japan, I must have walked past a similar marketplace a dozen or so times, and not had any idea what I was looking at. Seems like a really interesting place, and I like the idea that (for those willing to try) you can repair just about any hardware issue on just about any device.
