I also think if you had things built that were intended to be displayed in a circular resolution it could be pretty cool.
I'd get one as a curiousity depending on price! But my instinct is that it'd be too pricey for what I'd basically use as a toy.

My thumb does inscribe a curve, but that would be better supported by a phone shaped like a boomerang than one shaped like a circle.

I like seeing innovation and trying to get out of this rectangular world. But this isn't it. Granted I see a niche market for this.
