Exemplary tags and anonymity

I have to say I love the required little message that comes with the label. It actually gives an idea why it was added. Thing is, I've received a couple of Exemplary tags that either addressed me directly, or where I would have loved to know who wrote the message.

Would making them optionally-anonymous instead of always-anonymous be interesting to anyone? I certainly don't mind if people know who it is when I assign it.

They already are essentially optionally anonymous... if people want you to know who left the message they can just add their username somewhere in it. I have done that a few times already when...

I have done that a few times already when giving exemplary labels to people who answered a question I had. E.g. Thanks for the information, I really appreciate it! -cfabbro

Yeah, I do that sometimes too. They could be lying about who wrote it, but I'm not sure why anyone would do that (except for a malicious reason that would probably get them punished anyway).

That seems like a good reason to add an (optional) official display of who sent the message.
